About me

I am a lecturer in the School of Politics and International Relations at The Australian National University.

My research interests include Australian politics in comparative context, specifically political parties’ relationship with parliament and the executive. Lately I have begun researching in the area of political elites and their career paths. I also research in the area of Australian political history.

I am the editor of the Australian Political Science Association’s Political Organisation’s and Participation Research blog POP Politics Aus. I am also the co-host of Democracy Sausage podcast about Australian Politics.

I have have  undertaken research fellowships at the Australian Parliamentary Library and the Australian Museum of Democracy, Old Parliament House. I worked in the Australian Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery as a researcher at The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
